Madonna & Jesus' Dinner Cruz With Penélope

Talk about dinner under the stars.
Madonna and her much younger hottie boyfriend, Jesus Luz, were spotted just the other night having dinner at Mr. Chow on 57th Street in New York City with Penélope Cruz and her maybe-fiancé Javier Bardem.
And that's not all. Eva Mendes also joined them for the evening.
So what did the group enjoy (besides the company)? Chicken satay and Beijing duck. While most of the group sipped adult drinks, Cruz appeared to be having an alcohol-free night. "They were loud and laughing," an eyewitness tells us.
They wrapped things up after about two hours.

Katie Holmes and Suri sure do love shopping together.
Our spies spotted them earlier today at Madewell on Boston's Newbury Street taking home bags and bags of stuff.
Mama Katie and 3-year-old Suri spent over an hour in the store and walked out with new denim motorcycle boots and a slew of scarves to keep them warm in Beantown while Tom Cruise shoots Wichita with Cameron Diaz.

Selena Gomez is definitely not the only celeb these days into singer-songwriter Jason Mraz.
One of our spies spotted Twilight stars Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz on Wednesday night at the "I'm Yours" hitmaker's concert at the GM Place Arena in Vancouver, where our fave vampire movie franchise is filming Eclipse.
"They were watching the show from the soundboard area," the eyewitness reports. "Toward the end of the show, Jason and a couple of guys in his band went out on a small stage and did a few songs right there at the soundboard so the [people in the] back of the arena were able to see him up close."
After show Greene and Lutz hung out backstage, as did Friday Night Lights star Scott Porter.

Sightings: January Jones Is Mad for...Sharks?!

Who would ever have imagined that January Jones is brave enough to jump into the ocean to swim with sharks?
But that's exactly what she did recently in the Bahamas with Oceana, an environmental group dedicated to protecting the world's oceans. She hoped to send a message that sharks are not only vital to ocean life, but they're also not as scary as most people think.
"It's exhilarating," Jones told me yesterday at Variety's Power of Women luncheon, where she was honored for her work with Oceana. "They're beautiful creatures and to be in that close proximity with them was a dream come true."

Well, that's exactly what happened to the fine folks out shopping for playthings on Tuesday when Angelina Jolie herself stopped in with half her brood (Maddox, Vivienne and Knox apparently opted to sit this one out) while Papa Pitt continued to promote Inglourious Basterds in Spain and grow his beard.
Oh, but the real excitement didn't come until after the famous family left the store…

RUMER HAS IT: Rumer Willis celebrated her 21st birthday at Tao at the Venetian Las Vegas Saturday night with Madonna and Elvis impersonators. Oh yeah, mom Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher, dad Bruce Willis and his new wife, Emma Heming, were also there.
Rumer's Sorority Row costars Audrina Patridge, Briana Evigan and Jamie Chung joined in the festivities, which included a midnight toast with Patrón Platinum tequila.

Sightings: A Solo Brad Pitt Hits Berlin for Basterds

With no Angelina Jolie in sight, Brad Pitt jetted into Berlin earlier today for the premiere of his new Quentin Tarantino movie, Inglourious Basterds. Sources tell us that it's a quick, 24-hour trip that included the red carpet gala and some media for the much-buzzed about WWII flick.
Pitt looked smashing in Tom Ford, and with a glass of beer in hand, watched the screening in a seat next to Tarantino.
"He also spent loads of time signing autographs" outside the theater, an eyewitness reports.
Pitt's next Inglourious appearance will be at the film's Hollywood premiere on Aug. 10. No word yet if Jolie will be joining him for the festivities.
