Betty White may be out of this world, but that doesn't mean she's going to be playing with aliens anytime soon.

Despite rumors (and lots of high hopes) that Hollywood's favorite Golden Girl would be joining Will Smith in the next Men in Black flick

White tells me it's not happening.

"Where did that come from?" she last night at the BAFTA Los Angeles Britannia Awards, where she was honored with the Charlie Chaplin Excellence in Comedy award. "All these rumors come up but there is absolutely no truth to any of it."

Someone needs to tell that to Nicole Scherzineger. The Pussycat Doll, who has a small part in MiB3, told reporters last week at a Rocky Horror Picture Show tribute that White was, indeed, signed on.

Oops.

What definitely is happening is White's big reunion with Mary Tyler Moore. The two haven't worked together in 33 years, but Moore started shooting a guest spot on Hot in Cleveland yesterday. "We had a ball," White said. "We went right back into it as if it was yesterday."

Cleveland costar Valerie Bertinelli gushed, "It was surreal sitting there and watching Betty White and Mary Tyler Moore rehearse a scene together. I felt like I was in some sort of parallel universe. They're amazing. It's a great scene."

FYI to Elton John—Bertinelli would love to see you on Cleveland! "I'd love to sing with him," she said. "I've been a megafan since I was 13."
