What could Levi Johnston possibly gain by posing naked for Playgirl?

You mean besides money and the eternal high that comes with making Sarah Palin miserable? As the Jews might say, dayenu, that would have been enough.

For women, there are tons of reasons for posing nude: Sharon Stone said she did it for money right after appearing in Total Recall. It sure didn't hurt, given that she later went on to do stuff like Basic Instinct and Casino. We won't even begin to discuss the ongoing successes of The Girls Next Door.

But when it comes to guys who pose in adult mags, there are, generally, only two types: (1) Unknowns who, if the ploy works, graduate to sort-of knowns, and (2) bona fide celebrities who stir up noncontroversies by posing only partly in the buff.

That latter category includes a major country star married to an A-list actress, and a former teen star who has been linked to Megan Fox...

Nicole Kidman's Kinky, Cruise-Free Comments

Nicole Kidamn, British GQ British GQ

Like it or not, our eyes are now wide open.

But we're not referring to Nicole Kidman's choice of clothing—or lack thereof—on the cover of British GQ. Rather, it's the kinky stuff she says inside.

While the Oscar winner starts off slow, saying she's explored "obsession," "loss and love" and "the mundane aspect of marriage and monogamy" in previous relationships, she quickly proceeds to kick it up a notch…

Can Taylor Swift Crack CMA Awards Glass Ceiling?

Taylor Swift may not have walked away with the most Country Music Association Award nominations this morning, but she did walk away with the most impressive nod.

While Brad Paisley emerged as the clear chicken-fried frontrunner of the CMAs, amassing a leading six nominations, the teen songbird had the distinction of becoming the first female solo artist in nine years to make the cut in the male-dominated field of Entertainer of the Year, the highest honor.

(The award is not to be confused with the ACMs' Entertainer of the Year Award, a glass ceiling shattered by Carrie Underwood earlier this year.)

"I am jumping up and down surrounded by dogs and my mom and screaming like it's Christmas morning," Swift tweeted in reaction to her nominations. "I'll never forget this."

Aside from Paisley, who will pull double duty on the big night, cohosting the show with Underwood, Swift vies against country heavyweights George Strait, Keith Urban and Kenny Chesney for the night-capping award.

But they're not the only sampling of Nashville's finest to make the awards show cut. Hootie, anyone?

Taylor Swift Kisses Keith Urban With Her Prankster Prowess

Being on the road with Taylor Swift looks like So. Much. Fun.

We already knew the 19-year-old country crooner had no shortage of a sense of humor. Remember that awesome rap with T-Pain? Genius!

So the "Love Story" lady was meant to join Keith Urban on stage for a duet of "Kiss a Girl" during a Kansas City, Mo. Instead of entering stage right in a sundress with her blond curls waving, she went a little more hardcore.

Much to Urban's surprise, Miss Swift got swifty with the pranks and she and her bandmates dressed as KISS. Yes, as in the makeup-heavy, heavy metal band.

As Nicole Kidman's hubby tries to control his laughter, his misses one of the best elements of the gag—more band members running across the back of the stage in Hershey's Kisses costumes.

"Pranking is a must," she wrote on her Twitter. "It went down."

T-Swizzle, we salute you.

Nicole Kidman Puts Kibosh on Baby Rumors

Nicole Kidman, Sunday Rose Fame Pictures

For now, Nicole Kidman's offspring count is three and holding.

A rep for the Oscar winner has shot down reports that the Aussie is looking to give Angelina Jolie a run for her child-collecting money, denying that Kidman and hubby Keith Urban have plans to adopt from Vietnam.

"The report is not true, we have no idea who started the rumor, but it's fabricated," Kidman's rep, Catherine Olim, told E! News.

Clearly Olim's not a subscriber of Australia's New Idea magazine, which originated the brood-expanding report.

Although New Idea might have no idea about Kidman's mommy plans, the magazine did have some alleged details to back up its contention...

More from Marc Malkin

Keith Urban had a special guest during his rehearsal yesterday for tonight’s Academy of Country Music Awards.

We spotted wife Nicole Kidman watching from the audience toward the front of the stage. But as quickly as she appeared, she was gone, presumably to watch the remainder of her hubby’s set from backstage.

Faith Hill showed off her mothering side when she hit the stage at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas to practice her rendition of Loretta Lynn’s “You Ain’t Woman Enough.”
