Kate Winslet's marriage may be going the way of a certain luxury liner, but that isn't keeping the Holiday star from taking, well, a holiday.

Sure enough, while the world learned yesterday of the star's split from her hubby, director Sam Mendes, the actress was busy soaking up the sun on a boat in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

Looking fit in a two-piece black bikini, the Oscar winner enjoyed the company of her little children, Joe and Mia.

We're not sure who the mystery man is, but despite some of our commenters' wishes, it's definitely not Leo.

This is not the Hollywood ending we wanted for Kate Winslet.

Last year's Academy Award winner proved she could delay, but unfortunately not break, the Oscar curse, this morning announcing she was separating from her husband of nearly seven years, fellow Oscar winning director Sam Mendes.

The press-shy couple gave no official reason for their split, choosing instead to announce the sad news through their mutual lawyer.

"Kate and Sam are saddened to announce that they separated earlier this year," Keith Schilling of London-based law firm to the stars, Schillings, said. "The split is entirely amicable and is by mutual agreement. Both parties are fully committed to the future joint parenting of their children.

"They ask that the media respect the privacy of the family."

The couple, who last worked together in the heavily-lauded Revolutionary Road, have one child together, 6-year-old son Joe. Winslet also has a daughter, 9-year-old Mia, from her previous marriage to director Jim Threapleton.

Chynna Phillips has chosen to hold on.

Coinciding with her return from rehab yesterday, the Wilson Phillips singer withdrew a petition to divorce actor-hubby Billy Baldwin, E! News has learned.

"Every married couple has its ups and down but they're committed to the relationship," Phillips' publicist, Lizzie Grubman, tells E! News.

The rep confirmed Chynna filed her application on Friday in Santa Barbara, Calif., but rescinded it yesterday.

Kelis firmly believes Nas is hiding the dollar bills.

The rapper pleaded not guilty, however, to contempt of court for failing to pay the judge-ordered amount of $51,000 per month in child and spousal support to his ex-wife.

Kelis' camp says the Illmatic rapper is $200,000 behind and, on Friday, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge David S. Cunningham III brought the criminal charge, agreeing that Nas appears to be thumbing his nose at a court order.

Nas' camp maintains that he really can't afford the hefty sum (maybe he shouldn't have declared Hip Hop Is Dead in 2006) and just needs more time to get the evidence that proves it together. Another hearing was set for next month.

Kelis gave birth to the estranged duo's son, Knight, last July, less than three months after filing for divorce.

OMG—a Gossip guy is back on the market.

After weeks of rumors, Gossip Girl star Matthew Settle has confirmed his split from wife of four years Naama Nativ.

"It's true and we are working on that," he told People. "Things happen in life and you just have to roll with it. I wish things could have been better, but our focus is on our daughter."

The 40-year-old actor and his 26-year-old estranged wife welcomed a daughter, Aven Angelica Settle, last March.

But despite his suddenly single lifestyle, Settle isn't exactly taking to the scene.

"I'm not. I'm not adjusted yet," he told OK! "I'm still working on that, but it's always a tragedy when things happen, and that's all I can say."

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have filed suit against Britain's News of the World after the tabloid published an article last month which sparked the breakup rumor heard 'round the world.

The story, published on Jan. 24 and since wisely removed from its website, claimed that the couple had met with a Los Angeles divorce lawyer to quietly divide their assets, hash out a custody deal and financially provide for their six children in advance of what the paper claimed was going to be a messy separation. Dennis Hopper's soon-to-be ex-wife, Victoria, is seeking full custody of their 6-year-old daughter, Galen Grier Hopper, according to court documents filed Monday in Los Angeles.

Hopper filed for divorce on Jan. 14 after nearly 14 years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences.

Victoria agrees with the cause, per her response filing; but her husband, who's willing to pay spousal support, wants joint custody of Galen.

The 73-year-old Blue Velvet star revealed in October that he was battling prostate cancer.
