Chaz Bono: Gender Is Between Your Ears, Not Legs
When little Chastity Bono wished television audiences a good night and God bless more than 30 years ago, who knew she'd look so dapper in a suit?
Now Chaz Bono, the daughter son of Cher and Sonny Bono gave his first live interview since beginning the process of becoming a man eight months ago. Some of his thoughts were downright enlightening.
"To me, gender is between your ears, not between your legs," he tells Chris Cuomo on Good Morning America. "I've felt male as far back as I can remember. As a child, it was really clear. I felt like a boy."
He goes on to explain why being a lesbian is just the "simple answer" for him.
Sex Talk With Miley Cyrus and...Bette Midler?
Talk about a quickie.
Miley Cyrus admits she didn't have to work too hard for her cameo in the upcoming Sex and the City movie sequel.
"I shot for like an hour and a half, and I was done," Cyrus told Ryan Seacrest this morning on his KIIS-FM morning radio show. "It was like the best job I'd ever been on."
Cyrus appears as herself in a scene in which she and Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall) wear the same dress to a red carpet event.
"It was a total dream come true," the Hannah Montana star gushed. "It was so cool. Working with Kim was a really cool. And Sarah Jessica Parker was like the nicest person in the world."
And speaking of celebrity cameos in SATC 2…

Kristen Bell: "My Inner Thighs Are So Sore!"
Kristen Bell is in a lot of pain these days.
"I've started dance rehearsals and my neck is sore and my inner thighs are so sore," Bell told me at last night's Vanity Fair-hosted launch of Guess' new t-shirt benefiting Invisible Children.
No, Ms. Bell is not training for a stint on Dancing With the Stars. She's getting ready to start shooting Burlesque, director Steve Antin's upcoming drama in which she and Christina Aguilera costar as rivals at a Hollywood burlesque club owned by a former dancer played by Cher.
Rounding out the cast is Twilight stud Cam Gigandet, Julianne Hough and Stanley Tucci.
So just how much skin will Ms. Bell and the other young starlets be flashing in the film? Sounds like a lot, but...
Candis Cayne to Cher: "Show Love And Support"
Candis Cayne knows a thing or two about changing genders.
You may remember Cayne: She's the transgender actress who played William Baldwin's mistress on Dirty Sexy Money.
"It's such a private thing," Cayne told me shortly after learning that Cher's daughter, Chastity Bono, was transitioning from a woman to a man. "It's a huge decision. It's not like you wake up one day and say, 'Oh, I'm going to change my sex—won't that be fun?'"
Cayne may not know Bono or Cher, but she does have some words of advice…
Chaz Bono to Become a Man—Doesn’t Surprise Us!
Which is more shocking: That Chastity Bono plans to become a man, or that Cher's rep lied about her client not shopping around a reality show on the ordeal?
TMZ today confirms the semi-stunning news that Chastity has decided to undergo a sex-change operation. Too fab! (Of course, we reported this two months ago, but whatever, right?) Just glad Chastity is happy and...
The Heat Goes On After Cher's Alarm Scare
Rest assured, the only thing on fire at Cher's place is the singer's wit.
Some of Malibu's finest—in more ways than one, apparently—turned up in droves at the superstar's not-so-humble abode just after 11 a.m. today, after the medic alarm button on Cher's security system was accidentally pressed.
Paramedics and sheriff's deputies responded to the scene, and while they were quickly informed that their (professional) services were not required, the outing didn't turn out to be a total loss.
At least, not for Cher.
"Just spoke to Cher, who confirmed it was a false alarm but said she never saw so many cute firemen and paramedics in her life," spokeswoman Liz Rosenberg told E! News.
"She added that there was an especially gorgeous black-haired ambulance driver that she is really sorry she didn't get to meet. Maybe there'll be another false alarm..."

Cher Needs a Little Work
Cher opened her new Las Vegas show last night at Caesars Palace, but the extravaganza still has a few bugs to work out.
Like about two weeks worth, according to the diva herself.
“She said they were going to attempt some pretty cool things tonight, but they had only had two dress rehearsals,” an audience member reports. “So she had no idea if they’d be able to pull it off. She was apologizing in advance for any glitches and said in two weeks it would be much better.”
