Carrie Prejean the Hot Topic at Miss California Pageant

Carrie Prejean may have been out of sight at Sunday's Miss California USA pageant—but she definitely was not out of mind.

The annual pageant, held at Agua Caliente Resort and Casino in Rancho Mirage, was full of overt digs at the controversial beauty queen. Donald Trump, the owner of Miss Universe, even got in on the action, appearing via video feed to introduce the interview portion of the show.

"Get ready for some really tough questions…and as time has proven, they get us in a lot of trouble," he promised.

Host Chris Jacobs also contributed a few cracks about Prejean, saying that one lucky girl would win the chance to "become TMZ's new favorite topic" and "give Larry King something inappropriate to talk about." He also referenced her solo sex-tape scandal, joking that a producer wanted to call Miss Photogenic "the Carrie Prejean award."

Backstage, pageant co-director Shanna Moakler weighed in on the controversies that have colored the organization's year. (Moakler, who left her post at Miss California USA during Prejean's reign, returned after Trump ousted the scandal-ridden titleholder.)

Carrie Prejean's Biblical Boobs Are A-OK!

It is time to get off Carrie Prejean's back about her chest. The woman is correct. The Bible absolutely, positively does not say, "You shouldn't get breast implants." In those exact words.

We have reached this conclusion after seeking counsel and revving up the search engine at BibleGateway.com.

We are sorry we didn't take Prejean's word from the get-go. It just sounded like a rationalization from a beauty queen turned inspirational memoirist. But a little bit of faith would've saved us time, not to mention the embarrassment of having to ask students of the Bible for their thoughts on—how should we say?—pageant helpers.

Our findings—and, yes, our defense of Ms. Prejean—are as follows:

Ex-Beau: Carrie Prejean Sent Me Sexy Souvenirs

Carrie Prejean George Napolitano/Getty Images

Larry King might be inappropriate, but Carrie Prejean isn't exactly as squeaky clean as she professes.

The holier-than-CNN defrocked beauty queen apparently likes sharing herself with her beaus—according to her former boyfriend, who iexclusively dishes to E! News about Prejean's prefame hijinks.

"She sent me sexy pictures of herself in a bikini and stuff, but nothing worse than the stuff you find now by just Googling her name," says onetime boyfriend Jeremy Lattin, who dated Prejean in the spring of 2007.

The disclosure comes days after the not-so-shocking revelation Prejean, 22, made more than a half-dozen explicit videos of her pleasuring herself in an effort to turn on a former boyfriend—not just the one that she initially admitted to.

After word of the first vid broke, she told Fox News the too-graphic-for-TheDirty.com tape was "the biggest mistake of my life" and utterly "humiliating."

So where does Lattin figure in the equation?

Papa Prejean Speaks! Carrie's Dad Finds Sex Tapes Totally Irrelevant

Carrie Prejean Michael Loccisano/Getty Images

Apparently, it runs in the family.

No matter how many topless photos, inappropriate TV interviews, solo sex tapes or unrelenting victim complexes Carrie Prejean takes on, she'll always be daddy's little girl. And daddy's little girl can do no wrong.

Miss California pageant officials, on the other hand...

"The personal information they are bringing out against Carrie is irrelevant to anything," Will Prejean tells E! News exclusively from his home in San Diego.

Make that, irrelevant to anything, and distracting as anything.

"Look at Larry King, he asked Carrie harder questions than he asked [Mahmoud] Ahmadinejad.

"Carrie is supposed to be doing all of these TV appearances to promote her book and everyone can only focus on the tapes," he continued. "I'm not someone who looks backwards. I think we need to look to the future. Why isn't anyone talking about the charity work and all of the charitable organizations that Carrie's involved in?"

Probably because people like Carrie and (like father, like daughter) Will keep making lightning-rod statements. Just like this:

Was Carrie Prejean "Inappropriate" for Larry King?

Why should Larry King have walked out on Carrie Prejean? Did Gossip Girl's threesome radiate an afterglow? And what did Craig Ferguson do that Craig Ferguson had never done before?

The answers—and more questions—in the latest TV ratings quiz:

1. Whom did viewers find more "inappropriate," Carrie Prejean or Larry King? Judging by the numbers, Prejean. Wednesday's Larry King Live, featuring Prejean (and to be fair, other guests, as well), was the CNN show's second least-watched episode of the week, averaging only 633,000, or only a fraction of what clips of the Prejean-King dust-up scored on YouTube.

Carrie Prejean Discusses Christian Boobs

Miss California, Carrie Prejean, Miss USA Paegent AP Photo/Eric Jamison

Carrie Prejean's boobs are full of faith.

At least…that's what she's claiming.

The 22-year-old dethroned former Miss USA took a stand for Christians with breast implants everywhere, telling Christianity Today that the Bible is all for her pageant-bought boobs.

When the outspoken beauty queen was asked about her implants coinciding with her Christian faith, Prejean said "I don't think there's anything wrong with getting breast implants as a Christian. I think it's a personal decision. I don't see anywhere in the Bible where it says you shouldn't get breast implants."

Where's Larry King when you need him.

Let's hear it for romance!

Carrie Prejean Hearts Sarah Palin...Larry King Not So Much

Carrie Prejean is pretty, but she sure is testy.

Larry King got the fallen beauty queen so fired up on CNN's Larry King Live last night, she walked out on the show.

Prejean is in the middle of a publicity bonanza hawking her new book, Still Standing, detailing her clash with Donald Trump, Shanna Moakler and the rest of the Miss California organization.

After she showed off the tome and talked about her love for Sarah Palin—she considers herself "Palinized"—King began to ask about Prejean's recent settlement with the pageant organizers. She continued to spout her party line...that is, until she called King inappropriate and ripped off her microphone.

Carrie Prejean's Accidental on Purpose Sex-Tape Leak!?

Carrie Prejean, Miss California AP Photo/Denis Poroy
Conspiracy Corner, Comic Con 2009 Brick

There's something about Carrie Prejean that makes us suspicious.

Much as her book-flap copy might like to believe, our eyebrows are not cocked because of the former pageant queen's beliefs. Look, Sarah Palin's an acquired taste, too, but we're not driven to concoct wild theories about why she's doing Oprah next week. (In that case, we'd only be suspicious if Palin didn't do Oprah.)

So, no, it's not Prejean's ideas that make us think she's up to something. It's her timing.

As in, can you believe her sex-tape scandal broke four days before her book-flap copy—and the rest of the tome—was published?

We can't.
