Chris Rock is getting his writing career crack-a-lackin'.
The funnyman is putting pen to paper for the second time in his career for a book of "comedic observations" due in fall 2010 from Grand Central Publishing, according the company's spokesman.
Rock's first book was 1997's Rock This! for Hyperion.
The 43-year-old recently reprised his voice role as Marty the Zebra in Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa. He's set to make his Sundance debut next week with the documentary Good Hair, about the history of African-American coifs.
