Hasselbeck Births a Boy!

Guess we know what they'll be yakking about on The View Monday.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck and her NFL quarterbacking husband, Tim, welcomed their second child, a son, ABC announced. The boy was born Friday morning in a Phoenix-area hospital and weighed in at 7 pounds, 15 ounces.

The 30-year-old View cohost and her 29-year-old husband met as students at Boston College and have been married for five years. Their first child, daughter Grace Elisabeth, turned two in April.

"Elisabeth and I are happy to announce the arrival of our son, and we’re thrilled he arrived safely. Both mom and son are happy and healthy," Tim Hasselbeck said in a statement released by the network. "Grace is so excited to be a big sister."

The Survivor alum had originally announced she would work until Nov. 9 but decided to move up her maternity leave to Oct. 23 so the family could relocate to Phoenix. The change of plans came after Tim was signed as a backup quarterback by the Arizona Cardinals. (He had been working as a studio analyst after getting cut earlier this year by the New York Giants.)

"It was not easy to leave my cohosts and our crew early, but it was more than clear to me that I want my family to be under the same roof when our baby arrived," she said earlier this week, per the ABC press release.

Neither ABC nor Hasselbeck announced the length of her leave, but she took six weeks of full-time diaper duty when Grace was born.

At the time of her departure from The View, Hasselbeck said did not know the sex of the baby and would wait until the child's birth to find out.

ABC says Hasselbeck will phone in to the show on Monday to reveal the baby's name.

Here's guessing it won't be Rosie.
