Henry Cavill is going to have to save the world when he suits up as Superman, so it's probably a good idea he get some practice.

Fortunately he's traveling back in time to ancient Greece and doing just that in the upcoming movie Immortals. Check out the new trailer.

Naturally, as this is the ancient world, a frustrated deity, this time Hyperion (Mickey Rourke) is looking to pick a fight with humanity. In true underdog fashion, our one hope rests on the shoulders of an unproven peasant, Cavill.

Immortals comes from the producers of 300, and they've definitely left their mark: dark, dreary computer-generated skies abound, as do slo-mo shots of warriors in action and sequences following an arrow from the moment of release to the shuddering impact. But star power like Kellan Lutz, Freida Pinto (Slumdog Millionaire) shows they've cashed in on the success of their last Grecian epic. It's the perfect save-the-world training ground.

Immortals hits theaters Nov. 11.
