ElleIt isn't exactly news that Suri Cruise has an eye for fashion. She's only been hogging the spotlight since her bottle days!
But now that the 4-year-old is chattering away, it sounds like mom's getting a lesson in which shoes go with which bag.
"She'll really tell me [what's on her mind]," Katie Holmes, who plays Jackie Kennedy in an upcoming History Channel miniseries, says in the February issue of Elle. "Like today, I'm wearing brown suede pants, and she said, ‘I don't like your pants.' But then she'll say, ‘You've got to wear these shoes.' Or ‘That's so pretty, Mom. Wear that.' She's got a great eye."
Literally!
"The other day we came out of a store," Katie continued, "and she said, ‘I want to go there,' pointing at another store quite a distance away. In that store was the dress that she wanted. I said, ‘Wow, Suri. You're something. You picked that out from a football field away.'"
Looking into our crystal ball, we predict that Suri will eventually tip her presumably chic cap at family friend Romeo Beckham, who, for an 8-year-old, certainly knows how to dress.
