Katie Holmes! Singing! Dancing! Eh.

So You Think You Can Dance, Katie Holmes Michael Becker / Fox

Maybe Katie Holmes' number should've been called, "C'Mon Get Vaguely Interested."

Holmes' singing and dancing-like debut barely moved the needle for So You Think You Can Dance.

The show scored exactly as many viewers (8.4 million, per early Nielsen estimates) as it did on the same night last year. Overall, the episode was down from the series' Thursday season average, although up about 1 million viewers from last week's off week.

Holmes' appearance combined with the marking of SYTYCD's 100th episode meant that, yes, a repeat of The Mentalist was the night's most watched show.
