Jackson Custody Hearing Postponed Again as Mom and Grandma Try to Work it Out

There goes the judge again.

The already postponed hearing concerning the guardianship of Michael Jackson's three children has been bumped back another week, this time to July 20 at 8:30 a.m., at the request of the attorneys who represent baby mama Debbie Rowe and grandma Katherine Jackson.

Katherine will continue on in the meantime as the kids' temporary guardian. A conference call on the matter is scheduled for July 17, to see what the two sides have come up with.

Jackson family attorney L. Londell McMillan has said that the extra week will give his clients and Rowe more time to work out a private resolution.

Though Jackson's 2002 will stipulated that he wanted his mother to care for the children, legal experts have said that Rowe, being Prince-Michael and Paris's biological mother, has at least a shot at getting custody if she's so inclined.

Rowe's attorney said last week that his client hadn't yet decided what action—if any—she would take.

Jackson's ex-wife told KNBC-TV, however, "They are my flesh and blood. I'm going after my children."
