The reversal of fortune starts Wednesday.

Concert promoter AEG Live says that it will start doling out refunds on July 1 to the thousands of disappointed fans who had snatched up an estimated $85 million worth of tickets to one of Michael Jackson's 50 comeback shows.

Promoter AEG Live said in a statement today that ticket holders should go to MichaelJacksonLive.com for full instructions on how to obtain a full refund, including service charges.

"The world lost a kind soul who just happened to be the greatest entertainer the world has ever known," said AEG Live CEO Randy Phillips. "Since he loved his fans in life, it is incumbent upon us to treat them with the same reverence and respect after his death."

Those who helped Jackson's This Is It! engagement at London's O2 arena sell out within minutes also have the option of keeping their tickets, which were designed by the King of Pop, as commemorative items.

Ticket holders have until Aug. 14 to request the memorabilia in place of money.

Jackson died at the age of 50 last week after suffering cardiac arrest. A second autopsy requested by his family was performed today, but coroner's officials aren't expecting to anounce an official cause of death until toxicology reports come back in about six weeks.
