The self-proclaimed King of the South will be spending his exile in Arkansas.

T.I. will serve out his sentence of one year and one day in the Forrest City low-security prison when he turns himself in on May 26.

According to a population report filed just yesterday by the all-male prison, located 85 miles east of Little Rock and 45 miles west of Memphis, the double-fenced facility is currently housing 2,085 inmates.

It's part of a larger Forrest City complex that also includes a medium-security prison and a satellite prison camp for the most minimum-security male offenders. All told, 4,214 inmates inhabit the compound.

The 28-year-old rapper, who copped to felony federal weapons charges, will either be housed in bunk bed-equipped dormitory-style housing or cubicle housing and will be required to take part in a work program.

Since his official sentence is (just) over a year, he will be eligible for early release. Last month, court officials also acknowledged that he would be receiving credit for 305 days spent in home detention, meaning he's likely looking at less than two months behind bars.

T.I.'s final pre-prison concert will be held in Atlanta on May 24.
