Zac Efron Wishes For More "Celebrity Meltdowns"

Who knew Zac Efron was one of us? That is, a lover of an old-fashioned celebrity meltdown!

But, apparently, Efron is, at least judging by his personal note to gossip blogger Perez Hilton.

Hilton celebrated his 31st birthday at the Viper Room in Hollywood on Saturday night and although Efron couldn't make it to the party, he did send the Gossip Gangster a gift and card that read:

"Perez, Happy Birthday, May this year bring you lots of love, luck, and celebrity meltdowns. Zac."

"Zac Efron just sent a big bottle of champagne to my room and I started freaking out like a little girl!" Hilton tells E! of the High School Musical star's birthday wishes. "I almost cried; I think I did cry a little bit."

But when asked if he feels as warmly about Efron's other half, Hilton pleads innocent, asking E! "Who's Vanessa Hudgens?"

Although neither Hudgens nor Efron attended the party, plenty of celebs came out to celebrate Hilton's birthday, including Paris Hilton, Doug Reinhardt, Kim Kardashian, Aubrey O'Day, Tara Reid, Amanda Bynes, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt.

Inside the bash, Hilton got a special surprise from the Jonas Brothers, who came to sing "Happy Birthday" and Christina Aguilera, who put on a special show for the birthday boy and his friends.

The celebs all cleared out by midnight, but Perez boogied the night away, dancing to disco tunes in his black kilt and hot pink Doc Marten boots.
