A statement about the seriousness of his alleged crimes (to which he pleaded not guilty yesterday) would be a start. "He should not cry and blame others, hardships or pressures in his life," PR pro Robert Collins posits.

Instead Brown should acknowledge that domestic violence is wrong without jeopardizing his chances in court—in other words, "acknowledge that assault and abuse are serious issues." Brown has yet to express any of the above, leaving him open to speculation that he has no problem with smacking women around.

Of course "they" have not lost "their" minds. Do you know exactly how many screaming tweens will pay their allowance money to watch all-singing, all-dancing teenagers on the big screen? (That's not a rhetorical question. The answer is about $250 million worth. That's the current worldwide gross for High School Musical 3.)

And who's the director of the upcoming Footloose remake? Kenny Ortega, the same guy behind the camera for HSM3.

Usually, assistants schlep them. Or celebrities hire companies like Pacific Pet Transport, which counts Kate Bosworth as a client, to get pets to doctors, airports and the like.

Sam Raimi says producers controlled Spider-Man 3, hence the suck. How much creative control does a producer have over a film?

Indeed, Raimi told Empire, "They really gave me a tremendous amount of control on the first two films, actually. But then there were different opinions on the third film, and I didn't really have creative control, so to speak."

Unless the director is a household name like Spielberg, producers have the most creative control over a flick. Why? As Vesper Lynd once said, "I'm the money."
