Hey, some people lead expensive lives.

Tammy Lynn Etheridge has filed a settlement conference brief today saying she needs more than the $23,000 per month that her ex Melissa Etheridge is paying for spousal and child support.

She lists Melissa's former monthly income at almost $178,000 and their former standard of living at over $128,000 a month. Yeah, we could see how getting more than $100,000 less than what you're used to could be an issue.

In the documents, it states that Melissa "has extensive resources at her disposal and a tremendous earning capacity," while Tammy Lynn "has limited income and virtually no savings."

The couple of nearly nine years separated in April 2010 and have two children together, five-year-old twins, daughter Johnnie Rose and son Miller.

In January 2011, Melissa Etheridge began dating Nurse Jackie creator Linda Wallem.
