Forgive K.D. Lang if she's not in a singing mood these days.

Sadly, after nearly nine years with her partner Jamie Price, the Grammy winner has filed legal papers to dissolve her domestic partnership.

The 50-year-old Lang cited the ever-popular irreconcilable differences in her paperwork, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Dec. 30.

What else did the document reveal about their split?

Not much. The couple have no children together, and the division of property and assets are still being worked out. However, the question of spousal support was not, as Lang asked that Price's right to any such payments be terminated.

As for the cost of the filing, the singer—listed in the papers as Kathyrn D. Lang—is asking that each woman bears the financial burden of their own attorney fees and other legal costs.

The couple has always played it low-key, and has been together since 2003, when they were reportedly introduced to each other by their Buddhist teacher. They entered into their domestic partnership on Nov. 11, 2009 and their listed date of separation is Sept. 6, 2011.
