Well, the Fashion Star judge took time out from her presumably busy feed-change-cuddle-repeat schedule to let her fans know just what she thinks of being a mom!
"I am so in love with baby Maxwell," Simpson tweeted today, the first communiqué from her since her baby girl arrived on May 1. "I want to cry every time I look at her. Motherhood is by far the best thing I've ever experienced."

Maxwell is Simpson's first—and, if she has her way, certainly not her last—child with fiancé Eric Johnson.
The not-that-little lady arrived weighing 9 pounds, 13 ounces, so wen're not surprised that Jess is having a better time cradling her daughter, rather than toting her around in her belly.
And, not that we want to rush her or anything, but...how about a twitpic, mom?! We want to cry happy tears, too!
