It appears not everyone loves Matt Bomer as much as we do.

Or at least, not when he's belting out a subpar version of your Top 40 tune. Which is apparently what happened when the White Collar star recently appeared on Glee and, along with Darren Criss, performed Gotye's "Somebody That I Used to Know."

So what was the Australian singer's review of the cover? Be warned: it ain't pretty!

"They did such a faithful arrangement of the instrumentals but the vocals were that pop Glee style, ultra-dry, sounded pretty tuned and the rock has no real sense," Gotye (real name Wally de Backer) admitted to the Sunday Mail. "Like it's playing to you from a cardboard box."

Yikes.

But that wasn't all. As the Sunday Herald Sun reports, he went on to say the cover "made it sound dinky and wrong."

Double yikes. Especially seeing as the song skyrocketed on the Billboard charts after Glee's fan favorite Blaine (Criss) performed the duet with his brother, Cooper Anderson (played by Bomer).

So maybe it wasn't all wrong, eh Gotye?

Whatever, here's what we really want to know: Has anyone heard from Michael Bay about Matt's Transformers audition?
