A publisher has said yes, yes, yes to a memoir about Amy Winehouse.

The late singer's father, Mitch Winehouse, will pen the book Amy, My Daughter for HarperCollins.

So what exactly will be revealed in the tome when it's released next summer?

The book will cover Amy's entire life, both personally and professionally. It will focus on her childhood, the fame that came with her hugely successful album, Back to Black, as well as her struggles with addiction.

But for Mitch, putting pen to paper isn't just about sharing his memories with the world.

"I feel that I need to write this book to tell the true story of Amy and to help with my personal recovery," he said in a statement.

Proceeds from the tome will go to the Amy Winehouse Foundation, created to help children and young adults who, according to the organization's website, "are in need by reason of ill health, disability, financial disadvantage or addiction."
