The holiday hustle may seem overwhelming, but it doesn't have to be.

Case in point: Kate Bosworth has mastered the art of seasonal zen, as the face of Shopbop's 2016 holiday campaign. The creative direction is all about enjoying the festive season in the comfort of your home, whether that means watching Elf in your finest silk PJs (mental note: must have double-breasted set now) or cooking up a decadent feast. No matter your agenda, make memories with loved ones in comfort and style.

Along with sharing three tips on how she does it, the actress also provided her favorite holiday wardrobe essentials. And because we all don't get paid the Hollywood big bucks, we provided more affordable options for the savvy style savant below.

Tip 1: "If I'm getting dressed up, I tend to gravitate towards well-tailored pieces that give a bit of shape, but still have an ease to them."

When hosting events at home, you want two things: to look good and to be comfortable (you're still at home, after all). Find a dress worthy of an exceptional hostess by looking for a silhouette that complements your figure, appears polished and allows you to move. Chances are you might have to chase after your dog, reach up high to get that last bottle of wine or dance around the living room all night long.

Kate's pick: Nina Ricci Printed Satin Dress, $1,145

Editor's pick: Zara Lace Studio Frilled Dress, $169

Tip 2: "No matter the occasion, I always like to feel comfortable and confident. If something seems forced, I won't wear it."

If you don't like wearing it, it'll definitely show. It's important to look and feel beautiful. Not for anyone else, per se, but for the sake of being your best self. Try a pretty pair of slippers that you can feel confident wearing. Your feet will thank you later.

Kate's pick: Rochas Embroidered Slides, $450

Editor's pick: Daniel Green Denise Slide Slipper, $39.95

Tip 3: "My father told me, ‘Always remain classic. The trends will come and go, but remain classic and you will stand the test of time.'"

The holidays come every year. It's better to invest in classic pieces that you can wear repeatedly, rather than buy that super-trendy item that will lose its value by the next winter. Make sure you have a classic clutch to take on your cheerful holiday adventures.

Kate's pick: "What Goes Around Comes Around" Chanel Big C Square Bag, $4,800
