Raven-Symoné is ready for a different kind of view.

During Thursday's all-new episode of The View, the actress had a big announcement to share with audience members and viewers at home.

As it turns out, Raven is leaving the popular ABC daytime talk show for an exciting new project.

"I'm excited and sad, but mostly excited. I have an announcement to make: No, I'm not pregnant," she joked. The host explained that she's been working with Disney Channel on a follow-up to her previous series. "There's no title yet, but I'm calling it That's So Raven 2. It's Raven Baxter. It's still me. But I am a mother this time. I'm going to be a single mother raising two kids, and one of them learns that she has visions."

Auditions for the series will be underway soon, she added.

E! News has learned that her last day on The View will be this December. An official date has yet to be determined. As for her exit from The View, she said, "I've had such a great time...I've learned so much, and I've been saying, my experience has been multidimensional."

Ever since she was officially named a co-host back in June of 2015, the actress has been an important voice to the panel.

Whether discussing the latest news in politics or pop culture, Raven made it her goal to "call the truth" every morning at the Hot Topics table.

"I definitely have a different lifestyle than a lot of people in this world—good and bad—and my views are different than one might think my views might be because I've never really spoken my truth until recently," she confessed to E! News just last summer. "Hopefully I can shed some light on what I like to call the truth."

She continued, "Some people might not agree with me and some people will but we know how to talk to each other in a respectful way so that everybody gets their point across and there's no cutthroat conversation."

While she has experienced some disagreements with a few of her co-hosts over hot-button issues, Raven has also had plenty of fun.

She was able to host a That's So Raven reunion, interview the biggest stars on the Emmys red carpet and experience a star-studded 30th birthday bash.

And before rumors could ever start about any drama involving Raven and her co-hosts, the former Disney star made it clear that her latest job offered a rare place to express yourself where you can agree to disagree.

"That's what I love about it too," she shared with E! News. "I can express it. You can express it and we can disagree but we can move on and hug later. I love that."
