Blake Lively's post-baby bikini body is making waves down under.

Ten months after welcoming a daughter, James Reynolds, with husband Ryan Reynolds, the actress was photographed on the set of her new movie, The Shallows, in Lord Howe Island in New South Wales, Australia, late last week. Blake looked toned and tanned in a yellow-orange triangle top and printed bottoms as she filmed scenes on the beach. At various points during the outdoor shoot, she covered up by wearing jean shorts, a long sleeved sweater or a wetsuit jacket.

Blake and her family had arrived in Australia Tuesday.

It's unlikely that any locals got to see Blake in action, as there are only 800 permanent residents and there is no motorized transportation on the island. Tourists are limited to no more than 400 at any time. According to an eyewitness, the actress seemed confident during her first few takes. Blake stayed on set for about 90 minutes before the crew broke down the set and left the beach.

How the 5-foot-10 beauty got her post-baby back remains a mystery.

Earlier this year, Blake said she was "not really obsessing" over losing the weight she gained while pregnant with James. "There's pressure to lose it, or women are supposed to look like they did when they were 19 right after you give birth to your child," the 28-year-old actress told The BBC's Newsbeat in May. "I think it's silly."

The first-time mom's comments echoed those she made in April. "Losing weight is not something I have spent much time focusing on," Blake told The Daily Mail's YOU magazine. "With a new baby, it's just about eating well for her, because everything I eat goes right into her system. Your body goes through a lot after pregnancy and birth, so small, gentle workouts feel better."

As far as exercise was concerned, the blond bombshell admitted that if she had to do it, she preferred to do it outdoors. "I hate the gym. Who doesn't? When I'm in the gym I feel like I am missing out. I would rather rent a bike or go for a hike," she said.

At the time of the interview, Blake was promoting The Age of Adaline, her first film to be released after James' birth. Since its released, she has shuttered her lifestyle website, Preserve, and is focusing on her acting career. She spent September and October filming an untitled Woody Allen project that also stars Anna Camp, Steve Carell, Jesse Eisenberg, Parker Posey, Kristen Stewart and Corey Stoll.

The Shallows, meanwhile, is the second film that Blake has signed on to star in since becoming a parent. The thriller, previously titled In the Deep, is being directed by Jaume Collet-Serra. It tells the story of a woman (Lively) who is mourning the loss her mother. She decides to surf in an isolated area and gets stranded on a buoy. Things take a treacherous turn when she encounters a great white shark.

The Shallows is scheduled for release in 2016.
