The British hottie, who charmed the pants out of many viewers as the god Loki in The Avengers and the Thor movies, wears none in a certain hot hot hot sex scene in Guillermo Del Toro's new Gothic romance-horror film, which was released on Friday.
Mia Wasikowska, 26, plays his love interest, a naïve American writer and heiress who gets more than she bargains for when she moves in with him into his super creepy haunted mansion. Jessica Chastain, 38, plays Hiddleston's character's creepy sister. Hiddleston, Del Toro and the actresses recently talked about the film on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.
"We do not see the ladies in this movie showing their kibbles and bits but we do get to see your, uh..." Stephen Colbert said to the actor.
"Yeah!" Hiddleston replied.
"We get to see your English, um, countryside," Colbert said. "Was that your idea or was that your idea, Guillermo?"
"He likes to say it was my idea but it was fully his idea," Del Toro said about Hiddleston.
"Listen, listen, listen, it's a gothic romance, as we've established" the actor said.
"That's the romantic part—your bare ass is the romance!" Colbert said.
"It's about love and death, sex and violence," Hiddleston said. "I don't know how anyone else has sex, but you know, as far as I understand it, if you keep your pants on, it's not going to work."
TRUTH.
Hiddleston had told E! News earlier this year, "It's so often in movies that women are more naked than men and that's unfair. We wanted to sort of redress the balance."
