Time to cue up your copy of "I Say a Little Prayer" and get ready to sing along, because we have some truly amazing news for you: ABC is developing a TV show based on the seminal Julia Roberts classic My Best Friend's Wedding.

The network is working with the producers behind the original movie to create a single-camera comedy that will pick up where the movie left off, E! News has confirmed. The show will follow Roberts' character, Julianne Potter, navigating her life in New York City with BFF George (a.k.a. Rupert Everett's character) as her guide.

While this sounds like it could be either the best or worst idea ever, this should let you exhale a little bit: My Best Friend's Wedding will be written by the film's original writer, Ron Bass, and Jessica Amento, so it should be in good hands.

In case you don't have most of the movie memorized, it follows the 27-year-old Julianne, who is blindsided by her best friend Michael's (Dermot Mulroney) announcement that he's about to marry 20-year-old college student Kimmy, played by Cameron Diaz. The problem? Michael and Julianne had a pact that they'd marry each other if they hadn't found anyone by age 28, and Julianne wasn't ready to let him go.

Now, for the dream casting to begin: Which actress could possibly step into Roberts' awesome role? Who's the new George? And, most importantly, will there be a sing-along to Dionne Warwick every week or will they save it for special occasions? All together now: "The moment I wake up…"
