InstagramPerrie Edwards is making breakups look like a beach!
The Little Mix singer and Zayn Malik just called off their engagement, but by the looks of it Perrie is well on the road to recovery. Her bandmate Jesy Nelson shared a photo of the songstress yesterday looking absolutely amazing while lounging in a bikini.
"Phwoooaaarrrrr my WCW even though it's not Wednesday my Perrie winkle!!!!," she captioned the pic of her pal. Perrie is soaking up the Los Angeles sun in a skimpy swimsuit covered in a paisley design.
Just hours after E! News learned that Perrie and Zayn had broken up, the "Black Magic" singers sat down with us to talk about their forthcoming album. Perrie, who had an ear-to-ear grin on her face, briefly talked about her breakup and confirmed that she's doing well!
"I'm good, thank you," the 22-year-old replied when asked how she was getting along.
Zayn, 22, and Perrie got engaged in August 2013 after a little more than a year of dating. Although there were rumors that he left One Direction to commit more time to his personal life, it turned out that he was pursuing a solo career. "I guess I never explained why I left , it was for this moment to be given the opportunity to show you who i really am! #realmusic #RCA !!" the English singer wrote on Twitter last week, posting a shot of himself signing a new recording contract.
While Malik is busy with work, a source reiterated to us that Edwards is doing "fine" despite reports that she's "devastated."
"Her friends are rallying around her," the source dished. "They split a few weeks ago. Her close friends have told her she's better off without him."
Zayn shot down rumors that he cheated on his former fiancée earlier this year shortly before announcing his departure from 1D.
She might be going through a difficult time, but Perrie really does know how to make it look as though she doesn't have a care in the world!
