Beyoncé and Jay Z weren't the only American "royals" Prince William and Kate Middleton met Monday night at the Barclays Center—"King" LeBron James was in the house, too!

The royals (all four) watched court-side as LeBron led the Cleveland Cavaliers to victory over the Brooklyn Nets with a score of 110 to 88.  After the game, LeBron met the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and even presented them with a tiny Cavs jersey to give to Prince George!

LeBron Instagrammed a photo of this monumental meeting, gushing, "This very moment will be forever remembered and put up in my house. It's all good and smiles on this side. #Royalty #StriveForGreatNess #RWTW #LRMR #Klutch"

The NBA star, whose Instagram handle is even @kingjames, shared another snap of himself chatting it up with the smiling royal couple. "Wow what an Honor!" he wrote. "This game has brought me so much and I'll never take it for granted! The King [LeBron]. Duke & Duchess. #Royalty #StriveForGreatness #RWTW #LRMR #Klutch"

Some people questioned if LeBron's friendly gesture of placing an arm around Kate was a breach of royal protocol, but rest assured: A royal communications officer confirmed to NBC News it was not!

Even though Kate and William were cheering for the home team (the Nets), LeBron was beyond excited by their presence at the game. "It's an honor,," he said before the Cavs practiced Sunday, per ESPN. "It's a huge honor. The stuff that you read about, people like them are only in books growing up. And to hear that they're coming to town to see me play and they want to see me do what I do best, it's a huge honor."

"To have those two, to say they were traveling here and one of the things that they wanted to do was see me play," he said, "it's a pretty big deal in my household."

It looks like it was pretty big deal for William and Kate to meet "King" James, too!
