There's one celebrity wedding on the horizon that seems to be eclipsing all others…we're assuming you've guessed by now, but we'll say it anyway: Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.

The big day has raised many frenzied predictions, one of them being…what will Kim wear?

E! News has exclusively learned through a source close to Kim that she has already made a decision on her wedding gown. "She's picked out her dress, and she beyond loves it," says the source. And while Kim won't be revealing the label, we do know her dress is by an "elite" designer. Would we expect anything less?

So, in preparation for whatever Kim chooses, we've gone and listed our top five designers that we think are major contenders. And we're giving you the scoop on who, exactly, these buzzed-about designers are.

For example, you've likely heard of the fashion label Balmain, but what about the name Olivier Rouseteing? And sure, you've heard of Givenchy, but could you pick out Riccardo Tisci in a lineup? These designers may not necessarily be household names, but they are the creative directors behind these famous fashion houses. Not to mention, they're super close with Kim.

Really, there's only one way to know what Kim will wear for sure: wait and see—we know!—the waiting game is no fun.

But in the meantime, keep reading for everything you need to know about the labels we think are the biggest contenders when it comes to designing Kim's wedding dress.

1. Givenchy

What You Need to Know: Riccardo Tisci has been the creative director at Givenchy since 2005, and he's credited with breathing life back into the fashion house that had struggled before he took over. He's a CFDA International Award winner and he co-chaired the Met's Costume Institute Gala last year, dressing thirteen guests—including Kim and Kanye, of course.

Kim's Connection to the Label: Kim met Riccardo through Kanye (whom he had been friends with previously), and he designed the floral, gloved gown that Kim now-famously wore to the Met gala last year. He's gifted North West with mini versions of his own designs, and recently he called Kim "the Marilyn Monroe of our age," in an interview with The Sunday Times.

Likelihood That She'll Wear Givenchy: High. Considering Riccardo's close relationship to the couple, it seems like a good a guess as any that she'll wear a Givenchy gown. Plus, Riccardo has been quoted praising her recently, not to mention Kendall Jenner walked in Givenchy's Fall 2014 runway show during Paris Fashion Week.

2. Balmain

What You Need to Know: Balmain's creative director is Olivier Rousteing, and at 28-years-old he's already amassed a bevy of famous besties (Rihanna and Kim being two of his biggest fans). Since taking the helm in 2011, Olivier has made it a point to infuse hip-hop and pop into his collections, making headlines (and friends like RiRi and Kim) in the process.

Kim's Connection to the Label: During a recent trip to Paris, Kim stopped by three fashion houses, Balmain being one of them. She even posed for an impromptu photo shoot with Olivier—including a series of selfies—that he posted on his Instagram with the caption, "FASHION ATTACK #FASHIONSELFIE #funnaymonday #haters VS #lovers #imlovinit."

Likelihood That She'll Wear Balmain: High. Judging by her cozy selfies, Kim's friendship with Olivier has gotten even stronger recently—perfect timing for her wedding. Olivier exudes that edgy vibe that Kim and Kanye are going for, so we see Balmain as a major contender.

3. Lanvin

What You Need to Know: Lanvin is the oldest fashion house in the world, and also one of the most recognizable. Israeli designer Alber Elbaz has been the creative director at Parisian label since 2001. Alber is known for his joie de vivre and down-to-earth vibe as much as he is his feminine silhouettes and timeless designs.

Kim's Connection to the Label: Well, most notably and recently, Kim wore Lanvin for her first Vogue cover. The gray, strapless gown is from Lanvin's 2014 resort collection. Alber also admitted in a 2012 interview with The Wall Street Journal that he keeps up with the Kardashians, so to speak. "At 10pm at night, all I want to do is come home and watch Kim Kardashian get a haircut," he revealed.

Likelihood That She'll Wear Lanvin: Pretty High. Along with Balmain and Givenchy, Lanvin was one of the fashion houses Kim visited while in Paris this spring. Lanvin would seem like the perfect choice, the only thing that knocks the likelihood down a bit is that Kim already wore a Lanvin gown on her Vogue cover.

4. Giambattista Valli

What You Need to Know: Giambattista Valli is an Italian-born French designer who has worked for fashion house Fendi and then later Emanuel Ungaro, until he started his own label in 2005. He's known for his ultra-feminine aesthetic with a cool girl twist.

Kim's Connection to the Label: Kim doesn't necessarily have the same level of buddy-buddy friendship with Giambattista Valli as she does, say, Olivier Rousteing or Riccardo Tisci, but he's got that that romantic and edgy aesthetic that would be perfect for Kim's gown.

Likelihood That She'll Wear Giambattista Valli: Medium. Again, Kim isn't as close with the designer as she is others, but that doesn't mean that he's not a wildcard contender.

5. Monique Lhuillier

What You Need to Know: Unlike the other designers on this list, Monique Lhuillier is most known for her bridal wear. She started her first bridal collection in 1996, after a frustrating experience gown shopping for her own wedding. Since then she's dressed many celebs for not only red carpets, but their own weddings.

Kim's Connection to the Label: Kim chose an American designer (Vera Wang) for her last wedding, and along with Vera Wang, Monique is one of the most renowned and popular American bridal designers. Plus, she's known for that feminine and figure-flattering aesthetic that Kim favors.

Likelihood That She'll Wear Monique Lhuillier: Medium to Low. It seems more likely that Kim will go with a French fashion house for her wedding, but if she surprises us all and goes with something more traditional and American, we think Monique Lhuillier would be it. We can rule out Vera Wang since she's already worn her, so we say Monique is a possible contender.

So, there you have it! Our top five contenders. And of course, Kim could end up surprising us all and end up choosing something different entirely. Who do you think she will wear?
