It's been too long since we've last seen Renée Zellweger on the red carpet—four months, in fact.

The 44-year-old actress looked radiant Tuesday when she showed up for "A Starry Evening of Music, Comedy & Surprises," presented by UCSF Medical Center and The Painted Turtle. Wearing minimal makeup and with her hair in a messy up-do, Zellweger modeled a classic LBD and matching peep-toes.

The Oscar winner posed for pictures with several other stars at the San Francisco, Calif., charity event, including Glee actress Amber Riley, stand-up comic Kathy Griffin and record producer Lou Adler.

Zellweger made her last official appearance on Nov. 2, 2013, when she hit up a screening of Long Shot: The Kevin Laue Story in Burbank, Calif. Weeks earlier, she attended a Giorgio Armani in New York City.

Though she was one of the highest-paid actresses in Hollywood just years ago, Zellweger hasn't made a movie since 2010's My Own Love Song. In 2013, she co-created and executive produced Cinnamon Girl, a drama series about the music and movie scenes of the '60s and '70s; Lifetime passed on the pilot.

Zellweger is set to reprise her role as Bridget Jones in a third movie. According to her co-star Colin Firth, however, it "might" be "a long wait" before it arrives in theaters. "I wouldn't say that it's completely dead in the water," the actor told The Chicago Sun Times in 2013, "but the way it's going, you might be seeing Bridget Jones' granddaughter's story being told by the time we get there."
