Rejoice, fans of laughing and serial killers!

Fox has renewed three comedies and one drama for next season, E! News has confirmed.

The network ordered a fourth season of New Girl, a third season of The Mindy Project and a second season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, while Kevin Bacon's serial killer thriller The Following is set to return for a third season.

"These shows are some of the best and acclaimed series on television, with influential, culture-driving stars, and some of the best, most creative talent behind the camera," Fox bosses Kevin Reilly and Joe Earley said in a joint statement. "All four are core assets within our 2014-2015 portfolio of content, and we're really happy to bring them back to our Fox fans for another season."

Brooklyn Nine-Nine recently picked up the trophy for Outstanding Comedy Series and Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series (Andy Samberg) at the Golden Globes.

And though it's been on hiatus (set to return on April 1), Reilly has been a vocal supporter of The Mindy Project, saying, "I love the show. I think the creativity of it, it's really on the money right now."

In addition to the four pickups, Glee is set to return for a sixth (and most likely final) season, while Fox announced The X Factor will not be returning for a fourth season as Simon Cowell is set to return to the UK version of the reality singing competition. Additionally, Sleepy Hollow is set to return for a second season, while Bones was picked up for a 10th season.

Additional pickups will be announced later.
