Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen are everything.

The best buds are apparently rooting for opposing teams for this year's Super Bowl and shared a photo of them wearing football jerseys. Stewart wore a Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson's jersey, while McKellen showed his support for the Denver Broncos' Peyton Manning.

But what's the best thing about the Brits showing some team spirit for American football? The fact that they're holding a soccer ball (or sure, a football if you live anywhere other than the States)!

The sirs have a long history of friendship, and their bromance never seizes to bring a smile to our faces. In fact, the duo has a habit of snapping pics of themselves visiting multiple tourist attractions in New York City.

They've documented themselves everyone from the top of the Empire State Building, to posing with an Elmo in Times Square and even eating Nathan's hot dogs in Coney Island.

Back in December, the BFF's posted a picture on Twitter showing them sitting on Santa's lap.

"Father Christmas! #gogodididonyc @TwoPlaysInRep," Stewart captioned the festive snapshot.

And as if the pic wasn't ridiculously adorable enough, the two wore coordinating colors for the Christmas-themed snapshot. They're too much!

Stewart and McKellen's close friendship is nothing new. They've been joined at the hip for months while working together in two different plays in NYC, the aforementioned Godot and No Man's Land.

Back in September, Ian McKellen officiated over Stewart's Oceanside wedding to Sunny Ozell.

Keep ‘em coming, you guys!
