It's a bird! It's a plane! It's..a flying little person? When Liam Payne and Niall Horan hit up Miley Cyrus' 21st birthday bash at Beacher's Madhouse in Hollywood on Sunday, Nov. 24, the One Direction singers bonded with another European music sensation: Calvin Harris. In fact, the former even saved the world famous DJ from being hit by a flying little person.

"Big thank you to @Real_Liam_Payne for saving me from getting KO'd by a flying 'person of unusually short stature' tonight," Harris, 29, tweeted after leaving the star-studded event.

In addition to little people performers soaring through the air, Cyrus hired little people to recreate her now iconic MTV Video Music Awards performance. As previously reported by E! News, the night also featured a professional twerk team led by Amazon Ashley. Jeff Beacher and the "We Can't Stop" singer's BFF Cheyne Thomas presented the birthday girl with a $150,000 Swarovski-encrusted, gold-dipped three liter bottle of Beau Joie champagne and a custom cake topped with a nude doll made in Cyrus' image.

Family and friends—including Emma Roberts, Wiz Khalifa and Kelly Osbourne—sipped Cyrus-inspired cocktails made with Casamigos Ultra Premium Tequila.

Cyrus tweeted that she had the "best birthday night ever"—and we can see why!
