Kanye West may say he's a creative genius, but don't expect him to spell it out for you. Literally.

During an appearance on Philadelphia radio station Hot 107.9 on Monday, Nov. 18, the "Black Skinhead" rapper told morning show cohosts Shamara and Laiya, "People get mad at me saying that I am a creative genius, but it's just obvious. It's, like, factual."

He added, "I would write creative genius when I go through the airport...I would put that on customs [forms], where you put what your title is, except for two reasons: it takes too long to write and sometimes I spell the word genius wrong."

Of course, this isn't the first time West has referred to himself as a highly original artist.

Following his now-infamous Twitter feud with Jimmy Kimmel, West stopped by the host's late-night show and said, "I'm a creative genius and there's no other way to word it, and I know you're not supposed to say those things about yourself...For me to say I wasn't a genius, I would just be lying to you and to myself."

Speaking of geniuses, West no doubt found himself surrounded by quite a few over the weekend when he gave a lecture at the Harvard Graduate School of Design on Sunday, Nov. 17.

The Grammy winner spoke to a jam-packed lecture hall as part of the "DONDA Design Lecture Series," according to Virgil Abloh, the creative director of West's DONDA brand, who talked to the crowd of students along with West.

"Just gave a talk at Harvard GSD with Kanye," Abloh wrote as the caption for a picture he posted on Instagram. "Super surreal."
