The Governor is back!
The Walking Dead bad guy showed his face at the end of this week's episode.
"I think The Governor's got a lot of stuff to sort out," David Morrissey, who plays Rick's eyepatch-wearing nemesis, told E! News at the GQ Man of the Year party in L.A. "It's a really great season…It's a much-more character-driven season."
We'll learn "a lot more" about the Governor, Morrissey said.
"I think what's interesting about the Governor is he does explore all aspects of himself and I think at the end of last season we saw somebody who is surprised by his own violence inside of himself," he said. "This season is about him coming to terms with that. How he comes to terms with that is a new question. You'll have to wait and see."
Could The Governor become a good guy? Probably not, Morrissey said.
"What's great is no one is safe in this show—and this season proves it," he said.
AMC announced late last month that the zombie drama will be back for a fifth season.
