Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz are taking a bow.

The Broadway revival of Harold Pinter's critically acclaimed play Betrayal, starring the real-life Hollywood spouses, officially kicked off previews Tuesday night. And by the smiles on their pretty faces, they seemed relatively pleased with the results.

And that's despite the gloomy nature of the story, which is told in reverse chronology and chronicles a love triangle between an unhappily married publisher named Robert (Craig), his cheating wife, Emma (Weisz) and her literary-agent lover, Jerry (Rafe Spall).

The James Bond star last appeared on Broadway opposite fellow hunk Hugh Jackman in A Steady Rain while this is the first stint along the Great White Way for the English beauty who has won praise for her theater work in her native Great Britain. The two began dating after working together on the movie Dream House and tied the knot in June 2011.

Betrayal first premiered on Broadway with Raul Julia, Blythe Danner and Roy Scheider in 1980 and was last revived in 2000 with Juliette Binoche and Liev Schreiber in the main roles.

Opening night is scheduled for Oct. 27.
