Be still our beating hearts…it's a Look Who's Talking reunion!

The one-and-only John Travolta is making a rare return to TV to reunite with his former onscreen wife Kirstie Allie on TV Land's new show Kirstie.

The duo is best known together as Mollie and James from the classic '80s comedy Look Who's Talking, and now fans will get to see them back together (and hooking up!) nearly 25 years later.

Travolta revealed in a TV Land press release Tuesday that he is thrilled to be reuniting with Alley on her new show. "I'm excited about working with Kirstie again, in addition to such terrific talent on the show. It's always a treat to be surrounded by people you respect so much both personally and professionally," he says.

Equally enthused, Alley also tweeted the news to her followers saying, "John Travolta is gonna be on our new show KIRSTIE!!!!!! SOOO excited to work together again!!! We are gonna have a BALL!! @tvland !!" In addition to being the series' star, Alley is also an executive producer on the new comedy.

Kirstie, which will premiere at the end of this year, centers on Madison Banks (Alley), a Broadway star whose life is turned upside-down when the son she gave up at birth suddenly appears in her life. Alley will also be reunited with another former costar on Kirstie, as CheersRhea Perlman will be playing Maddie's assistant and best friend.

Set to shoot in early August, Travolta will guest star as a stagehand on Maddie's Broadway show, and it looks like things are definitely going to get hot 'n' heavy. After a one-night stand together, Maddie is surprised to find her fling is looking for more than just a night of fun. Yikes!

Kirstie will debut on TV Land Wednesday, Dec. 4, with Travolta's episode airing later in the season.
