Supernatural's Jared Padalecki and Wife Expecting Baby No. 2

CW star and his missus are expanding their brood

Forget demon hunting for the time being. Jared Padalecki has got bigger priorities—like diaper duty.

The Supernatural star is going to be a dad again as he and his actress wife Genevieve Cortese are expecting their second child together.

Padalecki (sort of) announced the pregnancy to his Twitter followers Sunday after his manager confirmed the good news to People.

"Shoot! I got on a plane and THEN realized that my tweet wasnt finished! Not used to this 140 character thing. I confirm that Genevieve is pre," teased the actor.

Word that his 32-year-old missus had a bun in the oven first surfaced on Friday when Padalecki reportedly cradled her baby bump on the red carpet at a Comic-Con party in San Diego, Calif.—not a bad way to celebrate his 31st birthday.

The couple is already proud parents to 16-month-old son Thomas Colton.

Padalecki and Cortese began dating after costarring on the popular CW series and tied the knot in February 2010 in Sun Valley, Idaho.

Jared shot to fame on TV playing Dean Forester on Gilmore Girls from 2000 to 2005.

He then made the leap to the big screen with notable roles in 2004's Flight of the Phoenix and 2005's House of Wax before landing the lead in Supernatural, which has been picked up for a ninth season.

As for Genevieve, the thesp got her big showbiz break in an episode of Stephen King's Dead Zone in 2005 and went on to star in the TV series Wildfire as well as the shortlived ABC series FlashForward.
