Over the weekend, the Modern Family star got in to a, uh, rather heated discussion at the Dodgers game and was "escorted to the top of the stairs by security" (his words, not ours). Now it's been revealed that he's also single.
Eric and his girlfriend of nearly three years, Broadway star Katherine Tokarz, have split...but he's not exactly fresh on the market. "Whatever their reasons, they broke up about 9 months ago," a source close to the former couple tells E! News.
A rep for Eric Stonestreet confirms to E! News that the couple has indeed separated.
The Emmy winner met Tokarz in 2009 while she was performing in Rock of Ages. Now Tokarz is engaged to writer-producer Bret Calvert. "It's only the greatest thing that has ever happened to me," Calvert exclusively told E! News about his fiancée.
"Katherine and I met in June, started dating and fell in love almost immediately," Calvert continues. "I asked her to marry me two Fridays ago and she said ‘yes.' It's been incredible. Without question the best relationship of my life. We're in a constant state of excitement about our life together."
And who knows, maybe Eric will even have a new date before this weekend's Emmys!
