Twitter ain't always smiles and sunshine—just ask celebrities who have deleted their accounts after receiving ruthless @replies. But Katherine Jenkins isn't letting e-bullies get the best of her.

Rumors spread on the social media site that the Welsh songstress and Dancing with the Stars alumnus was having an affair with David Beckham, which eventually forced both Katherine and David to shoot down the speculation.

"The rumors of Katherine and David Beckham having an affair are 100 percent false," a rep for Katherine told E! News. But even though both halves of the alleged affair have gone on record saying that no hanky panky ever occurred, Twitter users haven't dropped it.

And they've even taken to their timeline to threaten Katherine.

"Katherine has endured months of abusive tweets and messages accusing her of having an affair with David Beckham," Katherine's rep confirmed to E! News. "Some going as far as threatening her life. She simply felt that she could not deal with this any longer and so had to face these ridiculous rumors head on which is why she had to speak out."

But Jenkins isn't going to just sit around and take it. Katherine's rep continues, "With regards to the death threats, these have been reported to the police who are taking the matter very seriously."
