Avril Lavigne showed off her massive, 14-carat diamond engagement ring from Chad Kroeger on the cover of Canada's Hello! magazine.

Kroeger, 37, proposed to Lavigne, 27, on Aug. 8.

The Nickelback frontman tells Hello! he feels "like the luckiest person alive."

Lavigne, who was married to Sum 41's Deryck Whibley from 2006 to 2009, says Kroeger "makes me laugh every day. He takes care of me in every way and is extremely attentive."
