On Sunday, Miley Cyrus revealed her adorably edgy new pixie cut on Twitter. But just before the 19-year-old said goodbye to her long locks, hairdresser Chris McMillan shared a shot of the moment before the big chop.
"Good bye bun. Stay tuned. @ NYC," McMillan tweeted along with a photo of himself holding a pair of scissors up to Miley's famed topknot.
And while Miley's new 'do has gotten some mixed reactions, she's absolutely loving it. "feeling so happy in my skin," she tweeted Monday, along with a fresh pic of her short hair.
"my dad @billyraycyrus used to tell me 'opinions are are like ass holes every body has one' LOVE my hair," she added. "feel so happy, pretty, and free"
And she certainly looks happy, pretty and free to us. Keep doing your thing, Miley girl!
