Clive Brunskill/Getty ImagesAndy Murray got sweet revenge when he defeated world tennis champ Roger Federer, taking home the gold at the men's single finals Sunday.
Federer previously beat Murray at Wimbledon in July, killing Andy's chance to become the first Brit to win the Wimbledon men's single title since 1938.
"It's the biggest win of my life, that's for sure," Murray said of his London Games victory, according to People. "Now that I've got an Olympics–I'd love to win the U.S. Open...I'll work as hard as I can to do that."
Murray said the crowd pumped him up, as they cheered "An-dy! An-dy An-dy!" from the stands.
"The atmosphere was unbelievable," Murray said. "They helped me get a few extra miles an hour on the last couple of serves, that's for sure."
